Hi, I’m Laureen
I bring calm, playful, and genuinely accessible yoga to people in studios, and teams across London.
About me
10+ years of yoga and movements
Practising through life’s changes, career, grief, city-life, body and yoga has been a steady, grounding constant.
Qualified teacher
Trained in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga at Breeze in Beckenham and bringing fresh, thoughtful teaching to every session.
South London local
Based in Crystal Palace and teaching all around South London.
Forever curious
I love to move, to learn, quietly enquire and to see what’s possible and I bring that energy into every session.

Yoga for Active Lifestyles
Most people who train hard are brilliant at loading their body and not very good at unloading it. Yoga fills that gap! Systematically working through the ranges of motion that heavy training compresses, and building the kind of body awareness that keeps injuries at bay.
Mobility. Restoring and maintaining range of motion in the hips, shoulders, thoracic spine, and ankles. The joints that take the most load in most training.
Recovery. Regulated breathwork and deliberate slowness that shifts your nervous system out of fight-or-flight. It is not just stretching, it is active recovery.
Injury prevention. Building strength through full range, not just the middle of the movement. Tendons, ligaments, and stabilisers that heavy compound lifts don’t reach.
Focus. The ability to be present in your body during a session. Athletes who train this get more out of every rep.

My Approach
Grounded. Playful. Occasionally sweaty.
Yoga can feel serious and a little daunting from the outside. I want it to feel the opposite: a grounded, sometimes playful space where you can show up exactly as you are, on that particular day. There is no perfect shape. Every body is different, every journey is unique, and that’s exactly the point.
My sessions are also a chance to unplug and to step away from the screens for a while and reconnect with yourself. No pressure, no performance. Just you, your breath, and a good time.
My sessions aren’t passive. You’ll work. But the point isn’t to exhaust you. It is to leave you feeling more capable in your body than when you arrived. Every body is different, every training history is different, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
There is no perfect shape in yoga.
Show up where you are today. Just useful movement.
A decade of practice, a love of movement.
I’ve been doing yoga for over ten years, and it has been one of the most grounding things in my life. What started as a way to move and feel good (and deal with difficult grief) gradually became something deeper; my go to through the stresses of modern London life, and through all the ways my body has changed with time.
I love to exercise and stay curious. Yoga keeps me coming back because it meets me wherever I am, on the good days and the harder ones. I trained in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga at Breeze in Beckenham, South London, and I’m passionate about making this practice feel as welcoming and accessible as it has always felt to me.
I think a lot about nature and how we are part of it, not separate from it. No two bodies are the same, just as no two trees or rivers are, and I find that genuinely beautiful rather than something to work around. Nature also moves slowly; it took millennia to perfect the water cycle. That reminds me to be patient with myself, and with anyone I teach. You don’t need to have it all figured out. None of us do.

What you focus on, expands OR There is no end results, it is the journey
